The IsatPhone Pro 2 is a tough phone designed to work in all weather conditions - from driving rain to blowing dust and extreme heat. It has an outstanding battery life with 8 hours of talk time and up to 160 hours on standby.

To switch the device on, hold down the red key for a few seconds until the screen turns on. The Inmarsat logo will appear, followed by the main screen.

To switch the device off, press and hold the same red key for a few seconds until the screen shuts down.

In order for your phone to connect to the satellite network, you must have a clear, direct view of the sky with the antenna extended and pointing upwards, holding the phone like you would any other phone.

The screen will display Searching satellite... and Registered when the connection is complete.

When your phone is connected to the network and the antenna extended upwards, you can make and receive calls from anywhere in the world.

When dialing a number, simply enter the phone number in international format and press the green key. When your phone's antenna is fully extended, the screen will then display Calling followed by the number you dialed. To end the call press the red key, and to re-dial the last number called press the green key twice.

To receive a call your phone must be connected to the network. In order to answer the call, the antenna must be fully extended. You can then select Accept above the left soft key, or Reject above the right soft key.

To send a text message start at the Main Menu and select Messaging then select New Message using the left soft key. Type your message using the keypad then press the left soft key labelled Options. Use the left soft key to select Send, taking you to the To screen. Use the right soft key labelled Contacts to add the recipients you wish to message. Press the left soft key labelled Select then lastly select the left soft key labelled Send to send the message.
