American Red Cross tsunami disaster relief - Cellhire contributes to the Gift in Kind Program

New York, NY, January 28, 2005 — Cellhire USA LLC, the world’s leading supplier of international cellular phone rental solutions, recently joined the tsunami disaster relief efforts in Southern Asia and Eastern Africa. Cellhire is contributing to the Gift in Kind Program by providing the American Red Cross with long term satellite, GSM and GPRS voice/data solutions, allowing them to stay connected throughout the nine affected countries and other remote areas of the operation.

By donating the airtime rental and offering heavily discounted call rates; Cellhire takes great pride in helping the American Red Cross. Currently, the main focus of the ARC is on the tsunami relief, they are positioned throughout the region helping victims of the disaster. Providing airtime that will work in the most remote regions of the disaster area will have a significant positive impact on their efforts.

Cellhire has estimated the overall donation totals to be a minimum of $50k.
